About

We are a leading and innovative charity that provides high quality services and support to excluded, vulnerable and isolated Irish emigrants in Britain.
Mission:
The work of the ICB is only made possible through the support and commitment of many people who share our passion for journeying with Irish emigrants today. There are many ways that you can join us on the journey…

Become a volunteer…Volunteering can be a deeply rewarding experience. We have opportunities available for volunteer befrienders for older Irish people, volunteer office workers, or volunteer prison visitors. We also have vacancies on our board of trustees for those with organisational development skills to offer. Please contact us for more information.

Pray for us…Friends and supporters of the Irish Chaplaincy are warmly invited to remember us in their prayers.

Become a friend…There are many ways that you can support the Irish Chaplaincy either as a one off gift or as a regular donation. We have already been hit hard by the knock on effects of the ‘credit crunch’ on our sources of funding. We are increasingly dependent on our friends who offer individual donations to enable our work to continue.

£2 a month could help towards the cost of a volunteer in visiting an Older isolated Irish person.
£5 a month could provide a prisoner with phone credit so that they can keep vital contact with their family.
£10 a month could help us run a training session to educate public authorities about Traveller culture.
